If you’re in the mood to celebrate community this weekend, join ART 180 on Broad for the Downtown Art Walk Block Party to celebrate the naming of the Downtown Arts and Culture District, our soon-to-be NEW home. We’ll be joining our business neighbors from 4-8 p.m. for some evening fun.
Start off at 1708 Gallery and make a complimentary In-light lantern, then head down Broad, stopping at the Bizarre Market vendors lining the sidewalks. ART 180 will be camped out at Renovation Resources (they’ve got AC) selling some spirits and handing out FREE ‘Make art with it’ goodie bags (while supplies last). You can also get a glimpse at the plans for our space and then pop down Adams and peek in the windows of 112-116 W. Marshall to imagine happy kids scampering around, making and sharing their art!
Check out the list below for a list of what our neighbors are doing:
1708 Gallery will be hosting a FREE lantern-making workshop and screen printing with the folks of Studio Two Three in preparation for our 5th annual InLight Richmond (Friday, November 2 on Broad St.). We’ll also have a sidewalk sale of drawings created at our popular Monster Drawing Rally at just $40 a pop!
